Component testing and inspection for complete customer confidence in our components and sub-assemblies
Component testing and inspection is completed to the highest standards at The West Group. Depending on the type of component or sub-assembly in our production portfolio, we utilise a variety of destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
The West Group conforms with the tightest and most exacting component testing quality standards using the latest inspection and testing methods and equipment. This ensures our fluid control components and sub-assemblies both meet and exceed the expected operational functionality and quality.
Our testing and inspection processes are continually reviewed to ensure they remain in line with current industry requirements and customer expectations. We therefore achieve the highest component reliability and performance for our customers.
Our primary testing and inspection methods include:
Inspection Processes - We have multiple inspection methods ranging from the latest image measurement equipment, vision systems and UV inspection equipment, through to conventional small tooling such as vernier, callipers and height gauges.
Testing Processes - The West Group offers pressure, flow and leak decay testing for both liquid and gaseous applications utilising a range of UKAS calibrated equipment. If a component or assembly requires test equipment that is not yet available on the market, The West Group has designed, built and CE marked test equipment to meet the testing requirements.
Our components and sub-assemblies undergo a rigorous process of destructive and non-destructive testing methods (NDT) at various stages of R&D, manufacturing, production and post-production.
